The Link Farms is a family-oriented venture founded in 2016 by a young Maria Link. Originally based in Naples, Florida, it later settled in the peaceful countryside of central North Carolina.
Guided by her passion for sustainable living and a deep connection to the land and her animals, Maria built a homestead that reflects her values and her commitment to the unique breeds she raises.
In 2020, this dedication led to the creation of the Link Farms BLACK GOLD Breeding Program, focused on breed preservation and careful selection based on temperament, conformation, and health.
At its heart, the breeding program is an expression of love—a commitment to educating, inspiring, and sharing these remarkable breeds so they may be cherished for generations to come.
